Compose one strong platform screen with the Pinto wordmark and one signature 3D illustration. Keep the interface large and readable; leave breathing room around the composition.

01 / The Sage Project
Making food data understandable.
I joined The Sage Project in its early days, working closely with co-founder and CEO Sam Slover on a personalized nutrition app. As the sole designer, I created the brand identity, marketing website, and app experience, helping people make more informed decisions about food.
The work extended beyond the screen. I helped develop a mobile photography studio and a repeatable product capture workflow, establishing standards for consistent imagery across digitization and marketing.
Show three key app screens: discovering a food, understanding its nutrition, and a personalized view. Use consistent phone framing and a quiet background.

02 / A new chapter
A broader audience. A shared purpose.
After a period at Brandpie, I returned to help shape the company’s next chapter as Pinto: a product intelligence platform for brands and retailers. The audience had changed, but the challenge remained familiar—making complex information understandable and useful.
Clean typography and playful 3D illustrations gave the identity a balance of precision and warmth. Across the website and marketing, I translated the platform’s expanding capabilities into a clear, consistent story.
Create an identity board with the final logo, typography, palette, and two or three original 3D illustrations. Use actual brand specifications rather than the placeholder colors.

03 / Product design
Turning information into something useful.
I designed the experience and interface for the core platform, helping brands manage and distribute product content that retailers could use for search, recommendations, and personalized shopping.
Working directly with the founders, I helped shape product direction while designing the touchpoints around it: use-case pages, demonstrations, marketing campaigns, and presentations for prospective clients and partners.
Export one representative platform screen at high resolution. Favor a view with a clear hierarchy and meaningful product information. Add two restrained callouts explaining your design decisions.

04 / Physical to digital
From the studio to the screen.
The early digitization workflow evolved into Content Studio, combining photography, data capture, and classification to turn physical products into digital assets.
Building on the mobile studio developed at Sage, we created DigiApp, an iOS tool supporting efficient product data capture and studio-quality photography. It brought the same attention to clarity into the tools used behind the scenes.
Use a behind-the-scenes photograph of the mobile studio: lighting, backdrop, camera, and a physical product. An annotated original photo is stronger than a recreated setup.

05 / Continuing the mission
A larger reach.
SPINS acquired Pinto in 2022, opening a new chapter for the company’s product intelligence technology.
For me, it marked a meaningful point in a journey that began with making food labels easier to understand. Across both chapters, I helped shape the identity, experiences, and story alongside the team.
Build a concise closing composition: two social posts, one presentation slide, and a 3D illustration. Optional: a 6–10 second motion reel with a still poster and no essential information conveyed only through motion.
